1967 Pontiac Firebird description

Thanks for looking at my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This is a really nice example of an original car that was babied, but not restored, since it came from the factory. It has it original 326 cid motor that it came with. The car has an automatic power glide transmission. It also has POWER STEERING, so it is a joy to drive. Here's the story:
I bought this car about a year ago for my daughter. It was an attempted bribe if she were to go to college locally. Sadly, it didn't work. I bought the car from the original owner in Cincinnati. He owned it/drove it for 25 years or more and then parked it in his mother's garage. It has a few door dings in the black side striping (zoom in on pics) from his mom. Anyway, the car is very original and mostly rust-free. The PO told me that the body panels are all original to the car and that besides some touch-up work that he did on the trunk lid and the driver's side door panel (the inside panel where your arm would rest under the window), the paint is all original and in very good shape. I am not a car professional, but the car looks really good and the paint has nice shine.
The interior is original and besides a small separation in the driver's seat outer shoulder bolster (see picture), the interior is beautiful. The console lid also has some dulling in the paint from an arm being on it, I presume. The interior lights all work and the inside of this car is sweet.
The exterior of the car is very nice. All of the doors/hood/trunk close and open perfectly and the fit is very nice. I have picture a couple of rust spots so you can see the car's exact condition. I have been told that they are easy fixes, or just drive it and enjoy it as is. The chrome is all very nice and all of the firebird emblems (and 326 emblems on the hood) have been replaced with new, shiny ones. I do have all of the original ones, if you want them.
Mechanically, this car is a low mileage vehicle and drives as such. It was intended to be for my daughter, so it is tip top mechanically. We rebuilt the carburetor and it runs great. The braking system was all redone, so it stops as it should (for a car with drum brakes). All of the wheel cylinders are new/rebuilt. I took off the original exhaust as it was SO quiet when I got the car. I added a new muffler from Midas and I have the receipt for it. It now sounds a little deeper and throaty, but not obnoxious at all. Lastly, as you can see from some of the pics, it came to me with the original wheels and hubcaps. I do still have them and you can have them if you want. The hubcaps are very nice. I put brand new Hurst wheels and new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on it. As you can see from the pics, they look really great.
This is a really nice 1967 Firebird and I have done my best to describe everything about it. It is not perfect as it is almost 50 years old, but it needs nothing to get in it and drive it anywhere. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I am also selling it locally so I do reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. A $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance is due within 72 hours of the close of the auction. They buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost of shipping. I will help out in any way I can. Please ask any and all questions before the auction ends. Good luck!

Due to many emails and messages through Ebay, I have just added several pictures of the underneath of the car and the trunk. I mentioned in my ad that the PO did some touch up on the trunk lid...hence the overspray in the trunk. Good luck!
