This is a true NO RESERVEauction for a brilliant1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE roadster. This Series II convertibleis one of the most iconic of allbody styles. Thesesleek looking classics are considered generallyreliable, comfortable and really fun to drive. This great lookingautomobile has been super well cared for and maintained, and everything on this vehicle works just as you would expect, except for the clock! It sure looks amazing atalmost 50 years oldand the fit and finish are nearlyflawless. This gleaming example is sportinga silverpaint jobover a darkblue leather interior, the samecolorsthat the car was delivered with when new. If you have been in the market for one of these carsthat you won't have to fuss with, please give this one yourstrong consideration.

Living in aprotectedgarage facility, this particular convertible is very intact and free from mostrust and other defects that are frequently found on these models, that have not been as well cared for. The paint finish isa good driver qualityexhibiting only some heat failurein one smallarea aroundthe bonnet louvers (shown). The engineis strong andtight withno leaks, smoke, noises or other mechanical gremlins. When we drove the car, to shoot the pictures, it startedright up, ran great, shifted asdesigned and steered and stopped with little to noeffort. The margins are all nice, the doors, boot and bonnetall open and close correctly, and the windows all work. It was super easy to operate and wonderfullyinspiring to drive!

Since this car is obviously very well put together,we didn't wantto bog our bidders down with pages ofJAGUAR history and performance information. We consider that most of the interested automotive enthusiasts, who may be looking at this listing, will know more about these particular cars than we do. If you do need additional generic information, it is abundant through the use of simple internet searches. There is a spare wheel and tire for the car that sits anchoredin it's proper position nestled in the cleantrunk area under the rear boardcover. There is an early 2" X7" repair to the driver'sside floor well (shown), with the rest of the Jag appearingoriginal andrust free, in the majority.

Regular service attention that was givento this vehicle means that you can count on the predictable reliability and performance that this car will provide for the new owner. As you can easily see, the leather interior is prettyspectacular, and the pictures speak for themselves.A few years ago thewirewheels were re-chromed as were the bumpers and some of the other bright work. This car is a currently registered and driven vehicle and we have a clean transferable title in hand.Amazingly, thiscar hasn'tbeen in therain in over30 years, which is the length of time the current owner has had it! Our showcased cariswell over 40 years old, so please forgive us if we've overlooked something minor.

As with all of our eBay Motorslistings we try to letour high resolution photographs tell the story about the vehicles that we are selling. The extremeglare on a bright fall day madetaking the pictures more of a challenge. All of the pictures you see were just taken by us andwe have shots from many angles including the total exterior with the windows up and down, complete engine bay, full interior, trunk and the undercarriage. Multiple close ups will attempt tohelp you with any questions you may have about condition issues.
