1990 BMW M3 description
I'm a collector. I like to collect intriguing or beautiful mechanical pieces and then take care of them / enjoy them until it's time to sell. Over the last 15-years I've acquired a few cool toys, but now it's time to sell them and move on to the next phase.
For sale in this ad is a 1990 BMW E30 M3. Arguably the best handling sports car chassis ever made. If you're looking at this you're obviously aware of the E30's iconic status, and the M3 is the pinnacle of Mechanical Design / Engineering.
This car is a driver. I've had it for 13-years and I've driven it for 13-years. The title is completely, 100% clean and there have been zero accidents / claims. The chassis / body are arrow straight; this is NOT some wrecked, salvage title car that somebody slapped a new coat of paint on.
It runs just as smooth and strong as when I bought her.
She currently has Ground Control coil overs with adjustable camber plates, strut bars, Bigger (Racing Dynamics) sway bars with adjustable endlinks, Ireland Engineering Sway Bar reinforcements, TMS Subframe reinforcements, Sparco Racing seats, Momo Steering wheel and Shifter, UUC Evo short shifter, and SSR 17x7.5" wheels with Toyo Tires.
This car corners completely flat with near perfect weight distribution. There is a bolt-in half cage currently in the car.
I had big plans to turn this car into a completely spec'd / legal race car with a welded-in cage, but just never had the funds / patience to let her sit around in a shop for a year or two; come every spring I always wanted to drive her.
Last year I had a certified BMW Mechanic machine/rebalance the crankshaft, and replace the main bearings (crank & rod). I also had him replace the main seals and slave cylinder. She shifts and purrs like a kitten now. Until 6,500 RPM... then she sets off car alarms and makes your ears bleed! haha!
The original color was BrillantRot, but the old paint was starting to turn pink, so I had her repainted with OEM BMW HennaRot paint and PPG Clear. IMHO Henna is the best of all the BMW reds, and this car shines a brilliant/red orange in sunlight. Pictures just don't do her justice!
